Great news!
You do not need Mac to control Apple TV devices anymore! No more struggles setting up the Xcode and Apple Configurator. That means that any SuitestDrive can be used, even on a Raspberry Pi.
Using a new driver is a simple as re-pairing the device:
- Go to the device details modal window
- Move to Settingstab
- Click re-pair
- A wizard opens in your browser with instructions
- On the Apple TV, go to Settings -> Remotes and Devices -> Remote App and Devices
- Confirm it inside the wizard in your browser
- Enter the code that appeared on the Apple TV into the wizard and confirm
You can use the new driver now.

- Sign the package with your provisioning profile (see Apple Developer docs for more information)
- Create new Apple TV configuration and upload the signed package there
- Run a test with an Open app line only on each testing device
